Mr. David Duryee is the managing director of Horizon Management Services LLC, and has been active in business consulting, succession planning and financial training for over forty years. He received his BA and MBA in finance from the University of Washington and is an honors graduate from the Pacific Coast Banking School. He was a banker for sixteen years and in 1980 he co-owned and operated his own consulting firm and subsequently managed the valuation services division for Moss Adams LLP.
In addition to 60 Minute CFO, Mr. Duryee is the author or co-author of several books, including A Dealer Guide to Financial Management, The Business Owner’s Guide to Achieving Financial Success, as well as numerous articles in trade publications. He is a nationally known lecturer to business owners, bankers, and professionals, and sits on the advisory board of several corporations.
Mr. Duryee served in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Captain and commander of an artillery battery. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for outstanding leadership.
Mr. Duryee divides his time between Austin, Texas and Hood River, Oregon.
