Listen to interview with host Eric Dye & guest Dr. David Smith discuss the following:

  1. Although interpersonal and public ally-ship are essential, why are structural ally-ship and inclusive leadership critical to finally realizing a gender-fair society and workplace?
  2. In your new book, you’ve written that “the workplace is broken.” Can you talk about why you say this and what we’ve gotten wrong?
  3. How is gender collaboration at work deeply connected to equity and fairness at home?
  4. When men lean into their caregiving roles, take parental leave, use flex-work benefits, and talk openly about their obligations outside the office, how does this reduce the stigma associated with caregiving—for everyone?
  5. You emphasize routine measurement of gender-fair progress and demanding (high-quality) data. What should gender-fair organizations be assessing?
