To start, can you give listeners an overview of how you came to embrace AI adoption early on in your law firm? What compelled you to invest into these systems early on, especially in an industry where tech adoption is notoriously slow?
One of the ways AI is helping you innovate your firm and expand your leadership, is with the creation of an AI “digital twin” that expands your knowledge and philosophy as a founder, for your entire firm. Can you tell me more about what that looks like?
On that note, you have a new book releasing this October, “Built to Run: Designing a Business That Thrives Without You.” It’s a field guide for founders who want to move from daily operators to business architects. Alongside AI adoption, what are other tools and strategies you share with readers about how they too can accomplish this?
While your firm is based in the U.S. Midwest, you’ve recently made the move to Puerto Rico and continue leading the firm day-to-day from there. At what point in time did you realize you had the tools & resources necessary to create the systems that would enable such a big move?
Your book is all about helping founders, in the legal sector and elsewhere, turn from “bottlenecks” into builders. What does leadership look like on the other side for you and your business? Any surprises or learning lessons to share with our listeners?
