Mr Heater

Corey Wilson product manager at EGI for BaseCamp and Mr. Heater was born into an outdoor family. His father an avid hunter and fisher instilled a diverse appreciation for the outdoors in him by giving him a gun and a direction to walk at about 8, “if you get lost walk to the sound of cars and I will find you tonight” he said. While he rarely used the gun, he loved to walk spending entire days from dawn till dusk in the outdoors. After entering into a sales position and excelling he was able to raise venture capital to start his first business, one of the first solar powered battery charging systems. It was the beginning of combining the love of the outdoors with the love of product development. He met the Mr. Heater corporation in late 2011 and immediately felt a synergy with the people at the company.

Corey Wilson

Currently in his role of product manager Corey is in charge of the outdoor sporting goods portion of the company, helping to develop new innovative products to the outdoor industry through both the Mr. Heater and BaseCamp brands. His concept for product development in the industry is to get people out, keep them out longer and get them home safely with innovative sustainably made products.
