- Speak in your conversational tone
- Consider speaking with a faster rate
- Alter your rate by changing the pace to stress your most meaningful points
- Enunciate clearly – avoid extremes
- Maintain a pleasant volume level while varying the volume from time to time to give audience a change
- Speak well within yourself
- Pause occasionally
- Analyze your vocal quality by recording your speeches and playing back – best way of analyzing is to have a speech coach.
