Mitchell (‘Mitch’) DiRaimondo is an American businessman, cross-industry entrepreneur and digital industrialist, having founded enterprises across the decentralized finance and investment arenas.
He concurrently serves as Lead Project Manager and Founder of Steelwave Digital, as well as the CEO of e-Cobalt Investing LLC, while remaining versatile to investments in like-minded, mission driven and 2023-era companies.
Mitch began his endeavors researching and leveraging cryptocurrency market boons in asset class format in 2014, while still in high school. His pragmatic focus then on creating trading strategies that capitalized on the inefficiencies of the traditional marketplace led to his founding companies’ pioneering approaches which shared a commonality of creating an outsized positive return of alpha, the majority which were established while Mitch was attending Elon University in 2017.
In August of 2021, following the completion of his undergraduate degree from Elon, Mitch joined SteelWave LLC and founded SteelWave Digital, the latter, a leading real estate tokenization organization with an acute focus on democratizing financial investments in the sector of transformative commercial real estate projects.
Mitch has been an outspoken advocate on the versatile application of blockchain technology and has forged partnerships with leading academic institutions in the process, while participating at globally resonant conferences and in media interviews with Bloomberg, Real Clear Markets, Fortune, Enterprise Podcast Network, the San Francisco Standard and Wall Street Journal (WSJ), as examples.
A native Californian, Mitchell is a lifetime resident of San Francisco and the greater Bay Area.
