Jonathan Simon is a proud three-time graduate of the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in International Economics, a Master’s of Arts in International Business and Juris Doctorate Degree in just six years. While in law school Mr. Simon was a competition team and executive committee member of the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court and worked in the Economic Crimes division of the Attorney General’s office.
After graduation, Mr. Simon worked for two firms in the Orlando area practicing family law, insurance defense, personal injury and medical malpractice. Mr. Simon now focuses on representing individuals in family law proceedings and founded The Orlando Family Firm to provide compassionate and aggressive representation to those who need it most. Mr. Simon has taken numerous family law cases to trial in Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties and has vast mediation experience.
Mr. Simon is a member of the Executive Committee of the Central Florida Family Law Inns of Court, an organization dedicated to improving the practice of family law through continuing education and interaction with local judges. He is also a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association. Mr. Simon is involved with the Young Lawyers Division of the Orange County Bar and helps to raise money for and plan the yearly law clerk’s reception at the Orlando Shakespeare Center. Mr. Simon is licensed to practice in State and Federal Court in Florida, as well as the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Simon is a member of the Family Law Commission for Orange County and the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association. He and his wife, attorney Jill Simon, reside in the Orlando area and are active members of their community.
