Alex Cohen is a co-founder and head of Business Development at EventKloud, a company working to help businesses promote events, engage their audiences and improve by tracking what works.
He grew up in Bethesda, Maryland and graduated from Yale with a degree in philosophy. He moved to DC and, while working in politics for different campaigns and think tanks, he experienced first-hand the difficulties of marketing events to various audiences, and trying to achieve specific event goals.
Alex was inspired to enter the startup scene after working for a venture capital firm in Tel Aviv in 2011 and partnered with his co-founder Randall Olade to work on EventKloud and bring a data-driven and intelligence based approach to the process of marketing events.
