When Oli was a four-year-old farm girl in Springfield, MO, she sustained third degree burns when a large vat of hot water used to scald chickens spilled down her back. At the hospital, nurses gently tapped an ointment on Oli’s severely burned back. They also tenderly tapped it on her cheeks and called it a beauty cream.
