Zora L. Kolkey, M. A., MFT, has a real passion for this work.  She has been in practice in San Francisco for more than twenty years.  She has dealt with many challenging people and many challenging problems.  She wants people to know that they don’t have to face these issues alone, that there is help available.  She has been honored to accompany her clients on their very difficult journeys.  She has received a number of awards from the Bar Association of San Francisco, including the Community Service Award, for her pro bono work with clients from the Bar Association’s Homeless Advocacy Project.  She has also had a number of articles published on eZine.

For those interested in the academic details, Zora has a Clinical Psychology degree with an emphasis in Somatics from Antioch University, San Francisco, and a degree in Social Work from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.  She has worked in the Mental Health field since 1969, and has had her California license since January, 1987.  She works with individuals, including teenager,  couples, families and groups.  Zora is eclectic in her approach and uses both verbal and non-verbal modalities.  Her expertise includes working with depression, abuse and addiction issues, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Body-image and self-acceptance are intense interests of hers.
