Randall Cornfield is a housewares industry veteran and prolific inventor best known for creating TURBO Cookware, a range of products that use the power of steam to create healthy, delicious meals in a fraction of the time. Randall also developed bolo, the rolling knife, as well as a range of other innovative kitchen products. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada—a real “food” city—Randall learned to cook at his mother’s side from a very young age.
Randall began his career as a self-taught chef in 1984 by launching his own catering business before deciding he liked the product side more than the cooking itself. In 1985 he built and owned a small chain of gourmet kitchen gadget stores and later went on to help develop a gourmet division of a major Canadian retail chain. In late 1999 Randall invented his very first product which began the TURBO Cookware journey. To date, the TURBO Cookware range has sold over 2 million units. In 2018 after having developed products under other people’s brands, Randall decided to change direction and start to build his own direct-to-consumer brand.
Given his expertise working directly with consumers in the retail space, Randall has the insights to develop kitchenware that consumers will use and truly love. Randall looks forward to bringing continued innovation to the kitchen through developing additional products within the Chef Randall Brand.
