Entrepreneurial Success After Migration & an Ultimatum: Umberto Luchini

Umberto Luchini, Owner and Founder of Wolf Spirit, producer of Blood x Sweat x Tears Vodka; and importer of Tom of Finland Organic Vodka joins Enterprise Radio.

This episode of Enterprise Radio is working in conjunction with the Beverage Industry Channel.

Listen to host Eric Dye & guests Umberto Luchini discuss the following:

  1. Can you tell us about your life story?
  2. Can you tell us what made you leave Campari America?
  3. Can you tell us about Wolf Spirit?
  4. Tell us about Blood x Sweat x Tears Vodka? Tell us about Tom of Finland Vodka?
  5. Where do you see Wolf Spirit in 5 years?

Umberto Luchini is the Founder and Proprietor of Wolf Spirit LLC, a company which develops and owns spirit brands – such as Blood x Sweat x Teams Vodka of Eugene, OR — as well as imports and markets others, such as Tom of Finland Organic Vodka from Finland.

Umberto was born in Milan, Italy into a small, tight-knit family. He attended school in London, worked in France, became jobless after 9/11, and took a low-paying job with a great brand:  Campari (Monaco). Umberto rose through the marketing ranks, ultimately moving to San Francisco in 2004, where he resides today as an American citizen.

Umberto remained in Campari America for 17 years, during which he formed an award-winning team of 30 marketers; and developed Espolon tequila (which is often compared to Tito’s Vodka because of its explosive growth). In 2018, Umberto founded Wolf Spirit.

Umberto is happier than ever and working harder than ever to grow his own company and brands, as he did in the past for many others. In his spare time, he enjoys high-endurance sports and traveling.
