Consultant, career coach, international speaker and author, Jane Horan is an acknowledged expert in organisational development, diversity and inclusion throughout Asia-Pacific. She is the Founder of The Horan Group, a strategic consultancy focusing on cross cultural leadership, bias awareness, and the acceleration of women leaders, which she founded in Singapore in 2008.
During more than two decades in Asia, Jane has worked with top Fortune 500 companies, NGOs and academic institutions around the world.
Jane leads corporate workshops and conducts private coaching for executives in Inclusive Leadership, Positive Politics and Career Transitions. She is a frequent international speaker on Transformational Women Leaders, Organizational Politics, and Unconscious Bias. A guest lecturer at the Lee Kwan Yew School at National University of Singapore and The California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, she presents at leadership conferences around the world, WIN in Prague and Rome, IODA in Hyderabad, Sustaining Women in Business in Australia,and the Global Forum on Action Learning in California.
Previously in her role as Asia-Pacific Director of Management & Organizational Development for Kraft Foods, Jane was responsible for leading the formulation and implementation of employee development, talent management and innovation workshops. Jane joined Kraft from The Walt Disney Company (Asia-Pacific) where she was Executive Director of Organizational Development, leading Talent Management, Leadership Development, and Organization and Culture Change initiatives in Asia-Pacific.
As an author, Jane has published articles in Business Week, 20-first, and The Organizational Development Journal. Her first book, I Wish I’d Known That Earlier In My Career, was published in November 2011 by John Wiley & Sons. The book is a unique self-help guide to becoming politically savvy by using positive corporate politics to improve career success.
A prolific advocate for women in business, Jane serves on numerous committees including the Singapore Council of Women’s Organizations and the American Chamber of Commerce. Jane completed an Educational Doctorate in Leadership from Bristol University, holds a Masters Degree in Organization Design and Effectiveness from The Fielding Institute, California and a BA in Social Ecology and Spanish from the University of California at Irvine. She is married with two children.
