Vick Vaishnavi is a results-driven software executive with a proven track record of more than two decades experience in global sales operations, business development, marketing, consulting, product management and engineering.

As President and CEO of Yottaa, Vaishnavi is responsible for driving the growth, strategic vision and operational management for one of the fastest growing software companies in the Content Delivery Network market. Prior to joining Yottaa, Vaishnavi was  President & CEO of Aveksa Inc., a leading provider of business-driven Identity and Access management (IAM) software that was acquired by EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC). Under Vick’s leadership, Aveksa saw rapid growth for ten consecutive quarters and was recognized as a undisputed market leader by Gartner Research (Magic Quadrant for Identity Governance and Administration, Q4 2013) and Forrester Research (The Forrester Waveâ„¢: Role Management and Access Recertification, Q3 2011). Before that, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for BMC Software’s (NASDAQ: BMC; Acquired by Bain Capital & Golden Gate Capital in 2013 for $6.9B) Enterprise Service Management (ESM) business. At BMC Software, he drove global marketing strategy and field operations for the company’s ESM business to its best historical growth levels. Prior to BMC, Vaishnavi was Chief Marketing Officer for Data Center Automation software company BladeLogic. During his tenure, BladeLogic grew rapidly, 100 percent year over year, while he played a key role in transforming the company from its start-up stages to its 2007 initial public offering (NASDAQ:BLOG) and, later, an $800 million BMC Software acquisition in 2008.

Prior to BladeLogic, Vaishnavi was Founder & CEO at Rishisoft, an IT management consulting firm advising Fortune 500 executives on IT operations process and cost control strategies. Earlier, Vaishnavi helped co-found business service analytics software company Opticom, where he drove marketing and corporate development. He also has experience driving product management, architecture and strategy at Aprisma Management Technologies, a subsidiary of Cabletron Systems (NYSE: CS, $1.5B), acquired by Computer Associates. During his tenure, Aprisma grew from inception to over $100 million in revenues in five years. Aprisma’s SPECTRUM product line was awarded over 50 patents and won major industry awards.

Vaishnavi has also authored six patents in enterprise management software systems. He holds a BSEE from Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T), Roorkee(India), an MSCE from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA in marketing and finance from Boston University School of Management.
