Vitaly M. Golomb is a technology investment banker with over 20 years of experience on all sides of the table as a venture-backed CEO, venture capitalist, M&A and financing advisor. Vitaly has deep expertise in transportation/mobility, as well as artificial intelligence, software/SaaS, Internet, and advanced materials sectors.
Before joining Drake Star, Vitaly was the Founder and Managing Partner at GS Capital and a Founding Partner at HP Tech Ventures, where he was recognized as a Global Corporate Venturing Rising Star – awarded to top 1% practitioners in corporate venture. Before that, Vitaly was the CEO of an ecommerce SaaS startup, an award winning digital agency, and a graphic arts services company.
Having spent many years in the trenches as an entrepreneur, Vitaly brings a unique, hands-on perspective and strategic skill set to his clients. He has advised on financing, joint venturing, and M&A transactions in North America, Europe, and Asia including: Rimac Automobili, Fisker, HyperloopTT, Damon, Ujet, QEV Tech, Taiga Motors, and Pronto AI, among others.
Vitaly is the author of the bestselling Accelerated Startup and has been consistently ranked as one of the top mentors to a dozen global startup accelerators. He has contributed to TechCrunch and has keynoted conferences in over 30 countries.
He serves on the Supervisory Board of the Ukraine Venture Capital and Private Equity Association and advises the Ukraine Finance Ministry. Vitaly received a bachelor’s degree in Computer and Video Imaging from Cogswell College, studied Venture Capital at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and is a CFA candidate.
