Become a Good Dentist

What I Learned from Five Practices to Become a Good Dentist

Become a Good Dentist

Becoming a good dentist does not mean that you only are good at what you do, it also means that you listen to your patients’ concerns, help them to understand the procedures that they are about to undergo and make sure that they are comfortable with you and your staff as well.

Dr. Benjamin M. Kacos

Dr. Kacos is a dentist in Shreveport, LA, and ensures that himself and his staff familiarize themselves with each patient that walks through their door. Through excellent customer service, personalized patient care and mutual trust, Dr. Kacos has shown me that being a close family friend will ensure that each patient’s visit is nothing but pleasant and enjoyable. One of Dr. Kaco’s favorite treatments among his patients is his sedation dentistry, which allows for a more pleasurable experience if you are nervous or scared about a certain treatment.

Dr. Ashlea Drakeford

One of the first things that I noticed when I researched Dr. Drakeford’s practice was that her team speaks both English and Spanish. This is extremely beneficial for those who need dental work done, but have Spanish as a first language and do not speak much English. Dr. Drakeford has taught me that being a good dentist means you should cater to everyone even those who cannot speak your language. Dr. Drakeford is one of many Dallas dentists, but she offers something few other dentistal practices do.

Dr. Carl Medgaus

Dr. Medgaus is such a great dentist because he gives himself new opportunities to learn and grow within the dentistry field and has invested more than $350,000 in learning opportunities. Dr. Medgaus is a dentist in Monroeville, PA, but travels to Baltimore; Dearborn, Mich,; Tampa, Fla.; and Tulsa, Okla., to learn more about being a great dentist. I have learned from Dr. Medgaus that even if you are an expert at something, you should get extra knowledge whenever possible.

Dr. Priti Naik

Dr. Naik is a dentist in Vienna, VA, and is such a great dentist because she provides gentle care for each of her patients, and will give you honest recommendations when it comes to your mouth health and explain her reasoning behind her suggested treatment plans. I’ve learned from Dr. Naik that it is important to be honest with others because patients need to be told the truth about their oral health and the treatments that are necessary to maintaining or restoring it.

Dr. Keith Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen is a Rocklin dentist (California) who knows how scary it can be for children at the dentist, especially if it’s their first time. Dr. Nguyen has taught me that it’s important to ensure that everyone is comfortable around you. Being tense and uptight around patients will only make them more anxious and worried than they already are. Dr. Nguyen helps his patients to relax and breathe easy when undergoing a procedure, even it’s just a simple cleaning. It’s important to make sure your environment is a stress-free on for patients.
