Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Vic Pelonquin discuss the following:

  • Can you tell our listeners a little about your background as it pertains to inventions and patents?
  • Where did the idea behind the vertical organizer come from?
  • Can you describe the product and how it’s unique from similar products?
  • When does the kickstarter campaign launch? and what’s the goal?

Vic Pelonquin invented the Vertical Organizer to solve everyday organization problems in the home and office. According to a study in Newsweek, the average American wastes 55 minutes a day looking for things that they own but can’t find. That adds up to 12 days – almost two weeks! – every year.

After wasting many frustrating minutes looking for tools and supplies in drawers and closets, Vic decided to develop a prototype that could change the way we keep track of the countless little things we use on a daily basis.

Vertical Organizer

His prototype had to be easy to use, inexpensive, and functional in many different environments. We wanted our “little things” to be visible, so we wouldn’t have to go looking for them. It had to be sturdy enough to hold tools and workshop items, but stylish enough to look good in a kitchen, office or bedroom.

After some trial and error, the Vertical Organizer finally took shape. It’s made a huge difference in our own home, and we think that others would benefit from this simple device that has saved us so much time and head-scratching over lost stuff.

The Kickstarter campaign starts on September 7th and you can sign up for the email list here http://verticalorganizer.com.
