Russ Messerly, the Executive Vice President at Orbit Irrigation Products, Inc., the world leader in manufacturing and supplying irrigation, misting, and home improvement products joins Enterprise Radio.

Russ Messerly the Executive Vice President, Orbit Irrigation Products, Inc. has spent the past fourteen years working for Orbit Irrigation Products, Inc. He was hired as the Marketing Director and charged with growing that department to drive the growth of the company.  After a year and a half in that position, he was asked to lead the Sales efforts as the Director of Sales for the Big Box Business unit which entailed overseeing the sales efforts of all major accounts of the company, which included Home Depot, Lowes and Walmart in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.   The scope of my responsibilities represented over 70% of the company’s overall revenue.  Orbit has restructured their business into two separate divisions, Patio, Lawn and Garden and Irrigation and Home.  Russ is currently the President of the Irrigation and Home Division which includes all retail and professional irrigation products product lines.

Prior to coming to Orbit Russ was employed at the University of Utah as the Licensing Administrator, responsible for the use of all trademarked logos and marks of the University plus Assistant Director of Retail Operations at the campus retail bookstore.  In addition to working in Retail Management for over twenty five years he owned a specialized wholesale thermographic printing company that serviced the western United States.

Russ also served as the President of the Campus Computer Resellers Association servicing all U.S. Universities that sponsor a computer retail outlet in conjunction with their University Retail Store.

On a personal note, Russ is the father of six children and eleven grandchildren.
