As the quote suggests, English is one of the most important subjects in school. It consists of prose, poetry, and grammar. The level of English in class 8 is a bit higher than the previous grades and it is also the first year where students write 2 different papers for it. One paper is reserved for grammar where the student has to write an essay, a letter, solve a comprehension, and questions related to grammar. The other paper has prose and poetry. Students will be asked questions based on the chapters and the poems that they’ve studied for the semester.
