In this episode of XBM Thom Scott and his special guest Rick DiBiasio discuss how being creative can help us and how can we get more of it. “In the world we are in today, if our job can be done on the computer or if it can be shipped to India, you are toast!” Rick says. In school we have had creativity scrubbbed out of us as we were encouraged to stay in line, answer multiple choice questions, encouraged to do everything we are told to do, and we were not encouraged to be real curious and to ask a lot of questions. We were taught to conform. Rick has become passionate for coloring outside the lines and encouraging others to be creative. What if you feel you aren’t creative?
