TYPES OF BETS IN HORSE RACING

  1. Winner bet: You bet on the winner of a race

  3. Two horse bet: here you have to predict the correct order of 1st and 2nd place (also called run-in bet)
  4. Triple bet: here you have to predict the correct order of places 1, 2 and 3
  5. Fours bet: the first four horses must be predicted in the correct order of their finish. If no one hits the exact order, there is a jackpot that is played out on the next four-way bet, which then makes the bet all the more attractive. The four-way bet is only offered in selected races in Germany.
  6. Finish bet: the winning horses of the last three races of the day must be guessed correctly
  7. Place twin: you bet on two horses, which must both be among the first three places in any order
  8. Head-to-Head bet: two horses are placed opposite each other. The horse that crosses the finish line first wins.
  9. Total lead: bets are placed on the lead plus/minus the winning horse.
