Jennifer L. Smith is the founder and principal consultant of Growth Potential Consulting a coaching, consulting, and training company helping clients achieve sustainable results.

She coaches leaders in Fortune 500 companies, medium to small businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. Jennifer taps into her clients’ motivations and passions to help them achieve their goals. She believes that her clients are the experts in their lives and her value is being the expert in the coaching process. Using the power of questioning to unleash potential, clients move forward toward their potential.

“Success occurs when we consistently take steps that lead us towards a goal,” is a belief that guides her throughout the process.

Jennifer has more than 15 years experience in designing and facilitating programs in areas such as leadership development, diversity/inclusion strategies, succession planning, change management, strategy development, performance management, and process improvement.

Clients in past sessions have described her style as engaging. Jennifer uses her listening, critical thinking, and coaching skills to ask questions that take clients on their individual journeys while guiding the session towards the objectives. One of her strengths is helping clients create the bridge between content and how they can apply the learning…the W.I.I.F.M (what’s in it for me).

Jennifer has a BS degree in Accounting from Grambling State University, is a graduate of General Electric’s Financial Management Leadership Program (FMLP), and is a Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt. She also holds an MS degree in Organization Development and Human Resources with a concentration in Organization Development from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. She is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and member of the International Coach Federation.

Her question for you is: “What action have you taken in the past 30 days to realize your potential? Turn your dreams into reality by taking action today.”
