Demonstrating Respect For Your Audience

In order to gain top level respect from your audiences, demonstrate your respect first. By doing the following, your audiences will honor you with applause and invitations to return.
1. Assume they want nothing less than dignified content. Avoid risque comments. A wise guideline–when in doubt leave it out.
2. Honor your time limit. Stay within the expected time limit.
3. Involve your audience actively through discussion and other meaningful interaction.
4. Give a speech that is customized, not canned.
