Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Kimberly Clouse discuss the following:

Today we’re talking about ways to save for retirement. For most of us that phrase leads us to thinking about “shoulds” and we shut down.  My goal today is to give our listeners some actionable steps they can take to secure their own financial futures to help get unfrozen. And the stakes are high.  We are generally living longer; the “average” American male has a life expectancy of 76.3 while the “average” American woman has a life expectancy of 81.  According a recent Bankrate.com report, 36% of Americans have not saved anything for retirement.  That’s over 1/3rd!

  • 36% is high!  That figure must include people of all ages.
  • So what are the most popular ways to save for retirement?
  • What about IRAs?
  • Traditional, Rollover; what is the 3rd type of IRA?
