Francis Tesmer, CEO of ROLFS Global and Founder and CEO of LEAD | ROLFS Global Institute powered by L’Oréal joins Enterprise Radio.
Listen to interview with host Eric Dye & guest Francis Tesmer discuss the following:
- Francis, you’ve had an extraordinary international business career, from leading family businesses in Germany at just 21 years old to becoming a global entrepreneur and philanthropist. What inspired you to focus your attention on transforming education and career opportunities in the beauty industry?
- What makes LEAD | ROLFS Global Institute powered by L’Oréal different from traditional cosmetology schools, and why is bringing higher education into the beauty industry such an important step forward?
- Many beauty professionals are talented at their craft but struggle with the business side of their careers. What are three practical things salon owners, stylists and beauty entrepreneurs can do today to build stronger, more successful businesses?
- You recently brought the documentary “Does Beauty Matter?” to Mesa Community College. What message do you hope the film sends about the importance of the beauty industry, and how can business leaders and educators help change outdated perceptions of beauty careers?
- Looking ahead, what is your vision for the future of beauty education, and what advice would you give young people, career changers and entrepreneurs who want to turn their passion for beauty into a successful and sustainable career?
TIP: “My advice is to never stop investing in yourself. Whether you are a beauty professional, entrepreneur or business leader, your greatest asset is your ability to learn, grow and adapt. Take time to understand the business behind your passion. Learn how to manage your finances, build meaningful relationships and develop your leadership skills. And never allow anyone to tell you that your chosen profession limits your potential. I have spent my career believing that education creates opportunity, opportunity creates independence and independence creates stronger communities. That is the philosophy behind LEAD | ROLFS Global Institute. We are not simply educating beauty professionals. We are helping develop the entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders of tomorrow. Remember, your passion may open the door, but education and perseverance will help you build your future.
