Although the two teams had failed in the previous season, both Braves and Twins made it to the World Series. Neither team could score, with the innings count passing seven. Though in the final three innings, the Twins managed to achieve a victory over the Braves. The final score of Game 7 to give the Twin a World Series Title was 1 – 0, with the game being won despite high anxiety on both sides.
  • Another best in a series of seven, a game 7, was held for the 1992 National League Championship. The match was won by Francisco Cabrera, with the athlete propelling the Braves into the World Series. Although not a good runner, and the Braves losing against the Pirates, Francisco managed to make it to home from second base. An exceptionally close call, the match was won by an athlete that had the odds set against him, but luck squarely on the player’s side. 
  • In the 2016 World Series, two extremely strong and reputed baseball clubs were pitted against each other in the final game 7. Cubs battled the Indians in the championship, with the match carrying extremely high stakes. With both baseball clubs having an extremely large fanbase and great talent saturating the two teams, this was an extremely emotional game. Stellar performances from athletes, such as Dexter Fowler, Jon Lester and Rajai Davis, made the game extremely memorable. The Cubs won 8 – 7 against the Indians, making a first great victory in 108 years!
  • In a match between Angels and Mariners, held in 2010, Kendry Morales broke his ankle landing on the home plate. Although the sportsman was playing extremely well that year, bad luck had suddenly hit him during the match. Morales had to miss the next two year’s baseball events but the tournament was won by the Angels. The sportsman sacrificed his career for the Angels baseball club, making a final jump to home plate. This paved a way for the Angels to obtain a certain victory over the Mariners, 5 – 1. 
  • A long game between the Red Sox and the Yankees in 2004 included 14 innings and lasted a whole six hours. In this tournament, the Yankees lost against the Red Sox 4 – 5. The game is extremely memorable due to its long length and the intensity of gameplay. The Red Sox began making their way to the top by defeating the Yankees, with the latter team having had a previous lead over the former.
