- Visit Nakhon Sri Thammarat – This is a non-tourist city about one hour north of the Malaysian border and there are some amazing temples and colourful markets. Don’t be surprised if you are the centre of attraction, as this city is not on the tourist map. See how the southern Thais live and you can visit museums and National Parks, while also enjoying their very spicy food.
