As we discussed earlier, that means being able to articulate and execute your plan, get your financial house in order so you can demonstrate the benefits you’ll bring to the investment relationship, have good legal counsel ready to facilitate a smooth transaction, and plan to spend enough time with the investment groups you’re considering – and those considering you – so you’ll be sure they’re the people you’ll trust to help run your business for years to come.
