Lorraine Walston is the founder of Woodrow Wear, LLC and the inventor of Power Paws™, the first sock-based traction solution for dogs. Originally an indoor traction solution invented to help Woodrow, her 15 year old Rottweiler, get around on slippery hardwood and tile floors, Power Paws are now an indoor/outdoor product for traction, fashion, mobility, allergies, heat/cold protection, hardwood floor protection, and so much more.
In 2012, the product line was expanded to include a specialty version for hare-footed breeds such as greyhounds and poodles, and in 2013 she added a reinforced toe product.
On tap for July this year is a product version with a reinforced foot! The innovation and industry firsts continues with Woodrow Wear’s unique wholesale program for vets and pet retailers, including tools for determining proper sizes, videos and other educational materials to provide general information and help with questions, plus a Sock Exchange Program™ that allows retailers to exchange sizes or designs that are not selling for others that will.
