Aaron Freeman was born and raised in Southeast Texas. He attended both Stephen F. Austin State University and Lamar University, where he majored in business and was on the Dean’s list. Aaron has always felt the need to serve others and that there is a greater cause than one’s self.  Aaron served in the United States Marine Corp and was honorably discharged due to an injury in 2000.

Aaron began his career with Oak River in 2004. Since starting in the financial services industry, he has earned many designations and awards. “I believe education is key to providing the laser focused service clients deserve.”

Aaron holds a Chartered Financial Consultant Designation, (ChFC), Certified Income Specialist (CIS), Certified Estate Planner (CES), Certified Funds Specialist (CFS) and Certified Annuity Specialist (CAS). Aaron was the (National Association of Financial Advisors (NAFA) Rising Star Award Recipient.

In addition, Aaron has also been appointed to the Advisory Board of Senior Market Advisors. Aaron is part of the Million Dollar Round Table and has been selected “Court of the Table” the last two years.

Aaron is married to his loving wife Debbie. They have a three year old son, Carter, who is their pride and joy.

“I believe giving back and being involved in worthy causes is a responsibility I have.” The Freeman family supports many charities, including, Susan G. Komen, Wounded Warrior, Semper Fi Fund, Texas Children’s and the Boys & Girls Country.

Aaron’s passion is hunting. He is a member of Safari Club International (SCI), Houston Safari Club (HSC), Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and the Pope & Young Club. He has entries in both the SCI and P&Y record books.

In his free time, Aaron enjoys spending time with his family and getting together with friends.
