Jae Berman, a Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer in San Francisco joins Entrepreneurial Fit Radio. She is founder of Jae Berman Nutrition and works one on one with clients to support them to learn more about their behaviors, “why we do what we do”…particularly with food.

Listen to interview with host Eric Dye & guest Jae Berman discuss the following:

  • What is your nutrition philosophy?
  • What is meal timing and why is that important?
  • So how can people make nutrition a priority? Especially with such busy schedules? It is hard to have time to cook and eat perfectly all the time?
  • These are all great ideas…but how do you make it stick? How do you keep the weight off?
  • What are your favorite diet myths?

Duration: 11:39

Jae’s diverse background and extensive education in nutrition and exercise provide her with the unique ability to implement simple strategies and useful tools to create powerful results.

In addition to heading Jae Berman Nutrition, Jae serves as the Regional Registered Dietitian of The San Francisco Bay Club. In addition, she is a Certified Specialist Sports Dietitian, certified ACSM Health Fitness Specialist and has been a personal trainer, yoga teacher and Pilates instructor for eight years. Her specialties include nutrition for weight loss, wellness, sports nutrition, cardiovascular nutrition, digestive disorders, eating disorders and blood glucose control.

Over the years, Jae has become increasingly interested in exploring how proper nutrition functions as a complement to physical activity. Jae began by examining nutrition as its fundamental, scientific base, to learn more about how nutrition actually works and to understand the nuances and facts around fad diets, urban myths, agribusiness and other societal influences.

Jae uses her expertise to motivate people to use nutrition to maximize their strength and reach their full potential. Her programs create a positive relationship between her clients and their food, and therefore a positive relationship with their bodies. Jae develops specific nutrition plans based on each of her client’s needs that provide strategies to help them achieve their nutrition and fitness goals.

Jae earned a master’s degree in Applied Physiology and Nutrition from Columbia University and completed her dietetic internship at UCSF Medical Center.
