Jae’s diverse background and extensive education in nutrition and exercise provide her with the unique ability to implement simple strategies and useful tools to create powerful results.

In addition to heading Jae Berman Nutrition, Jae serves as the Regional Registered Dietitian of The San Francisco Bay Club. Her specialties include nutrition for weight loss, wellness, sports nutrition, cardiovascular nutrition, digestive disorders, eating disorders and blood glucose control.

Over the years, Jae has become increasingly interested in exploring how proper nutrition functions as a complement to physical activity. Jae began by examining nutrition as its fundamental, scientific base, to learn more about how nutrition actually works and to understand the nuances and facts around fad diets, urban myths, agribusiness and other societal influences.

Jae uses her expertise to motivate people to use nutrition to maximize their strength and reach their full potential. Her programs create a positive relationship between her clients and their food, and therefore a positive relationship with their bodies. Jae develops specific nutrition plans based on each of her client’s needs that provide strategies to help them achieve their nutrition and fitness goals.

Jae earned a master’s degree in Applied Physiology and Nutrition from Columbia University and completed her dietetic internship at UCSF Medical Center.
