The effectiveness of a particular strain can be attributed to how much is taken and the body’s reaction to it.

There are three strains of Kratom that are commonly used for anxiety treatment. Borneo Kratom is a strain that contains 7-hydroxymitragynine in high concentrations. This alkaloid is strong and provides the Borneo Kratom with analgesic, relaxant, and mood enhancing abilities. It comes in white, red, and green veins, with green vein being the best choice for dealing with anxiety.

Indo Kratom is another commonly used strain in treating anxiety, and as the name suggests, it has Indonesian roots. In terms of potency, its sedative effects aren’t as strong as Borneo Kratom, but it is pretty similar. In addition to treating anxiety, this version of Kratom provides pain relief, relaxation, and mood elevation, and effects of this strain seem to last longer than others. Like Borneo Kratom, Indo Kratom comes in red, green, and white veins. White vein Indo Kratom is more of a stimulant, which isn’t the best choice for treating anxiety, but red and green vein Indo Kratom are perfect.

It’s usually a cheaper option than Indo and Borneo Kratom, meaning customers can get more for their money. The chances of having side effects, such as nausea, are higher with Bali Kratom, depending on the strain that is used. The white vein variety produces a calming effect without drowsiness. The red and white veins have the sedating effect if anxiety is interfering with your sleep.

There are some strains, such as Maeng Da and Thai, that have benefits, but aren’t go to choice for anxiety relief. Some strains have a mild effect in low enough doses, but others act more as stimulants that can worsen anxiety. These strains can be mixed with other strains for anxiety relief, but it’s better to just go with Borneo, Indo, or Bali.
