with Joanne Frederick

Joanne Frederick, the founder of Cybercise, an online gym and the author of “Move.Eat.Be.” a series of ebooks designed to help people find their own personalized plan for lifelong, sustainable wellness joins Entrepreneurial Fit Radio.

Listen to host Eric Dye & guest Joanne Frederick discuss the following:

  • What is the most important thing an entrepreneur can do for their health?
  • What is sustainable wellness and what is the key to finding it?
  • What should we eat?
  • In your book you include a section on wellbeing. What do you mean by wellbeing?
  • What about exercise? How much, what kinds, when?

Tip: Exercise before email – when you get up in the morning do something for your body before you open your email. It doesn’t have to be long or strenuous, but it helps you set the stage that each day, no matter what is going on, is really about your health.

As President and CEO of Market Strategies, Joanne has spent the last 20 years consulting on public sector healthcare programs. A proven healthcare design architect, she has helped her clients win contracts in excess of $25 billion. For most of those 20 years, she has been sketching various versions of a new healthcare system on napkin backs. As time passed, she recognized the best way to save our healthcare system was to help people get healthy. While continuing the consulting practice, she founded Cybercise in 2005.

Cybercise is a simple portal to stream animated exercise videos, on demand. We focus on the 5-minute workout and helping people fit exercise into their lives. A sister offering, Move.Eat.Be. delivers a personalized wellness program which recognizes there is no “one-size-fits-all” diet, exercise or well-being approach that works for everyone. This 6-month experiential program takes people on a journey to discover their own plan for lifelong, sustainable wellness. She also created “The Real Food Label” and has many exciting endeavors in the works for our food system.

Joanne has a B.S. in Business Administration and Master of Arts from Tai Sophia Institute in the program now titled Transformative Leadership and Social Change. She is a certified personal trainer, a graduate of the Health Coach program from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and is an AADP Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner. She is currently contemplating doctoral programs in public health policy and the epidemiology of health and wellness.

Joanne has a mission: Help 1 million people get well and live well.
