  4. You have an interesting manufacturing process called Manufacto, what is this approach?
  5. Where can we follow the company and Next-Gen Future Machines?

Trent Dingman is co-founder and Head of Operations & Communications at Real Motors, where he is defining how the next generation of machines are imagined, engineered and built. A mechanical engineer, entrepreneur and self-described social engineer, Trent believes breakthrough products begin with people—bringing together small, highly capable teams and giving them the freedom to challenge convention and turn ambitious ideas into reality.

Before founding Real Motors in 2022, Trent spent eight years at Techtronic Industries, where he developed electric riding equipment for brands including Ryobi and HART covering several areas ranging from design to after sales service. He later co-founded Makeit Inc., applying his engineering and entrepreneurial experience to building and scaling new businesses. Today, he brings that same collaborative product development approach to Real Motors and Project: ARES, the company’s retro-futuristic electric motorcycle, for which he put together the team to develop Project : ARES.

A former Division I rugby player, Trent credits competitive sport with shaping his approach to leadership, problem-solving, and team building. He is a frequent speaker at industry and entrepreneurial events on the future of mobility, design, manufacturing, and innovation.

Outside the factory, Trent’s interests extend well beyond motorcycles. A lifelong fan of science fiction and futurism, he is fascinated by how technology, culture and human behavior intersect and how social engineering can help create organizations capable of doing what conventional thinking says cannot be done. Trent holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.

For Trent, the future isn’t simply something to predict; we must make conscious decisions to build it the way we imagine.

“The future isn’t something we should wait for. It’s something we should engineer. We’re entering an era where mobility moves beyond transportation and machines become more intelligent, adaptable and personal. At Real Motors, we’re engineering for that future, not simply imagining the next vehicle, but rethinking what a machine can be.”
