1. Ask your host whether to use PowerPoint with that audience.
2. Never display a slide show that displays only text.
3. Rely on PowerPoint as the notes for your presentation.
4. Bring backup copies with you.
5. Email the slide show to your host a couple of weeks ahead of your speech.
6. Involve your audiences in discussion and topic centered interaction just as much as you would without PowerPoint.
7. Make sure your PowerPoint presentation is TOTALLY accurate.
