Petrie Willink, originally from Forese Row, Wealden District of East Sussex, England, began to pursue his passion for acting at the age of ten. He joined the local drama club, The Nutley Drama Club, where he landed his first role in a few plays. From The Tempest to a play about Buddy Holly, his passion began to grow as he immersed himself in various stage roles. He auditioned to play Harry Potter, where he made it through two rounds before being surpassed by Daniel Radcliff. With a bit of stage fright and sweat, he enters the stage with certain joie de vivre.

Growing up with one sister and four brothers, Willink learned from a young age how to fend for yourself. Empathy, perception, and kindness are at the forefront of his character. His grandparents would take the family to Holland for summer holidays and enrolled them in sail and swimming school where they participated in outdoor water related activities at their lakefront house. Additionally, they enjoyed spending the winter months skiing at their chalet in the Swiss Alps.

He spent three years traveling, backpacking, and exploring Europe where he learned to navigate adulthood on his own. Eventually, he landed a job as an event planner and moved to Hollywood at age 24.
From a young age, his grandfather introduced him to Transcendental Meditation. To this day, he practices meditations as a part of his daily spiritual practice. He practices yoga, dance classes, and has a black belt in taekwondo, where he represented England in the junior team.

Two of his brothers have founded their own successful tech startups and have collected nine million in Series-A funding. His only sister is finishing university and has been hired as a computer programmer where she develops software for smartphones. He speaks Dutch. His dad was at Morgan Stanley for most of his career as a technical business analyst.

Petrie is interested in environmentalism, social equality, equality, energy revolution, and vegetarianism. His latest role in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer film, is set to be released July 21st, his feature film, Krispr, features him directing, producing, and starring in the film.

He feels blessed with a very rewarding life, meticulously designed, curated for the extreme crests and pitfalls of a rollercoaster storm. It’s been a lot of hard work with a lot of rejection but finally the fruits of his labor have grown into a strong foundation in acting, directing, and writing.
