As a young man, Jason Garrett moved to Austin, Texas from Laguna Niguel, California, with his family to help his father start a business. Passionate about music and art, the move ended up being a natural fit.
While trying to carve out a living playing guitar, Jason spent more than a few years at big and small technology companies alike before deciding to found his first company, Marketwiise. This venture was a wild ride and taught Jason about raising capital, investor relations, differentiating in crowded markets, and building successful products. It also inspired and laid the foundation for Jason’s current company, Mighty.
In his free time, Jason loves to spend time with his wife and kids, volunteer at church, and get the old amplifiers out to strum a chord or two.
