Shana Rose Dysert has one question at the forefront of her mind and on the tip of her tongue. “What is your purpose?” As Vice President of the company Multeepurpose, she asks this question in a creative way—through fashion. Her curiosity, leadership skills and fashion sense allow her to thrive in such a position. These attributes also jump started her career in the international clothing company, Guess? Inc. Now, Shana is able to combine her passion for fashion with her desire to embrace needs around the world. In effect, she and her company are “changing the world one shirt at a time.”
Multeepurpose strives to supply individuals with tops that express a variety of purposes. There are five purpose areas in which clothing is categorized; humanity, liberty, ecology, animal and urgent concerns like natural disasters and war. One reason why Shana asks people to express their purpose, is because her purpose is one in the same; she connects people with causes, adding to the number of those who make the world a better (and more fashionable) place.
Today, Shana is living her dream and encouraging others to do the same. It was not long ago that she sat in a college setting pondering the question she now asks so many. After studying at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Shana, a dean’s list student, received a double Bachelor of Arts in both Economics and Communications. She joined Multeepurpose in 2009, and became the CEO of Shey Shay Public Relations in 2010.
With a love for life and a dare to dream mentality, Shana challenges herself to achieve what many people consider impossible. At only 26, she has already built a 1928 Model A, Ford, climbed the tallest mountain in the U.S. and recieved a black belt in Isshinryu . It is clear this young woman does not confrom to mediocrity but rather flourishes in the light of transformative thinking. She holds her spirit in the posture of success.
Currently, Shana has her sights set on the hospitality business. She entered the industry in 2008 and has since followed her passion of enlightened hospitality. She hopes to create a one-of-a-kind establishment coming soon to Downtown Los Angeles.
