Stephen Lesavich, PhD, JD (@slesavich), is a technology expert, an award-winning author, and an attorney in private practice. He is the founding partner of the Lesavich High-Tech Law Group (lhtlg.net), founded in Chicago, Illinois.

Stephen received a B.S. degree with distinction from the University of Wisconsin, an M.S. degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Ph.D. in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and a J.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

As an attorney, Dr. Lesavich regularly writes, speaks, and is interviewed about legal topics related to cybersecurity, business law, technology law and intellectual property law (patents, trademarks, and copyrights).
