Blockchain Conference in Zurich to Focus on Power of Data

CoinGeek always holds a biannual blockchain conference; and this year, it will take place in the banking capital of the world, Zurich, Switzerland. On June 8-10 the much-awaited seventh installment of CoinGeek Conference will be broadcasted live from the Samsung Hall in Zurich. Aside from being a global financial hub, just south of Zurich is the “Crypto Valley” in Zug where the headquarters of Bitcoin Association, the global industry organization that supports Bitcoin SV (BSV) as the original Bitcoin. CoinGeek Conference VII will also be hosted by Jimmy Nguyen, founding president of Bitcoin Association.

The theme of the conference is about the power of data and how to harness this power to revolutionize and correct different processes and systems. CoinGeek Conference will gather industry leaders, businesses and investors so blockchain experts and developers can show them how the innovative technology can improve their existing systems by providing transparency, immutability and security their data, as well as streamlining processes to reduce cost through microtransactions. The Bitcoin SV blockchain is currently the only one in production that can actually provide these benefits and functionalities.

There are more than 400 projects and ventures currently being operated or built on the blockchain that has the most stable protocol. And this is because Bitcoin SV is committed to realizing Bitcoin inventor Satoshi Nakamoto’s original vision. Just last year, the original Bitcoin protocol has been restored, which has made the network as stable as ever and has unlocked its blockchain’s unlimited scaling capacity to handle big data. And this is why Bitcoin SV is considered to be the original Bitcoin.

On top of this, Bitcoin SV is an economically incentivized system that gives back ownership of data to its users—unlike Facebook and Twitter that collects and uses their users’ data to gain enormous profit only for themselves. For instance, in EHR Data’s blockchain-based healthcare database, an institute will have to ask permission and pay in order to access a patient’s medical history for use in their research. In this way, not only does the patient own their data, they can also earn revenues from it. This is what it means to correct established systems for the greater good.

Past CoinGeeK Conferences were successfully held in New York, London, Seoul, Hong Kong and Toronto. Due to the pandemic, last year’s conferences were broadcasted live from studios in New York and London. The live broadcast consisting of a full schedule of more than 90 speakers, who are all experts in their fields, garnered more than 6,000 attendees and over 300,000 views.
