3. Start building your business even while you are still employee – you don’t have to quit your job once you think you want to start a small business. Remember that more often than not, your business might not yet turn a profit in the first months since it was established, so you might want to still have that steady paycheck for your job as an employee while you’re still doing your market research and coming up with your business plan.

4. Ask for help and advice – it does not hurt to ask from more experienced people. Even when you do a lot of research, it would be good to build connections with people who have been doing business for years. Do you have a friend who has ventured into his or her own business years ago? Ask them for advice and tips on how they were able to make the business successful. 5. Choose a good location – location is another important thing to consider when starting a small business. If you are offering a product or a service, it’s important that you find a location that would have more than enough foot traffic to attract a crowd to try your product or service.
