Iranian-born and Toronto-based designer Shah Emily Noaman began designing jewelry for family and friends in the mid ’90s. She turned her hobby into a part-time career while pursuing studies at the University of Toronto.

“Travel and nature inspire me the most,” says Shah. “Ideas for new jewelry combinations often come to me in my dreams. When I wake up, I can’t wait to get to my workshop and make my visions come to life. I create my designs with love and positive energy.” Under the 3SHAHS label, she designs custom pieces for her customers, celebrity clients, fashion designers, and stylists.

Shah keeps active in her boutique in the Rosedale community.  She is known for her creative flair and philanthropic endeavors. Shah believes in supporting the economy and providing job opportunities locally.  She developed a venture called “Keeping it Local” that employs local talent to assist her in creating jewellery in Toronto.
