First of all, you are the second generation of leadership for your family company – Double AA Corporation, which provides fuel services for the petroleum industry and also has a real estate division. Can you tell us what you do and why you gravitated to those responsibilities?
It’s sobering to realize that approximately 82% of all family businesses will fail by the third generation – and most don’t successfully pass to the next generation with a 70% failure rate. Why, in your opinion, is there such a high failure rate?
I’d like to get down to the nitty-gritty. Your company is now 35 years old and growing – what is Double AA doing differently to create success?
