Reed Eckhout began his career at CitrinGroup in 2013, holding the position of Market Analyst with a focus on fixed income. While concentrating on the firm’s debt portfolio, Mr. Eckhout contributes to analysis of  market  activity, economic conditions, and portfolio behavior. In addition, he is heavily involved in CitrinGroup’s proprietary Model Portfolio Construction and Implementation (MPCI) process as well as client relationships of the firm. Mr. Eckhout reports to the Director of Investments.

Mr. Eckhout received his B.A. in Economics from Michigan State University. Before joining CitrinGroup, Mr. Eckhout worked for a wealth management firm where he provided comprehensive investment management and financial planning services to high-net-worth individuals and employer-sponsored plans. In this role, he built a solid framework for approaching markets and asset classes, which transpired into building diversified portfolios for clients across the strategy and risk spectrums.

Passion for global markets and a strong intellectual curiosity provide the foundation for Mr. Eckhout’s analytical work. He is currently a 2014 Level II Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) candidate.
