Ingrid Hernandez, founder and designer of Yunes Swathe, developed an affinity for fashion while heading the accounting department at a shoe design company. After having attended Baruch College for accounting, Ingrid fell in love with the creative and production process of designing pieces.  In her desire to create a brand for the woman who feels as confident in her clothes as she is in her own skin at accessible price points, Yunes Swathe was established.

As the founder of Yunes Swathe, Ingrid manages the day to day operations of the line. Yunes Swathe officially launched in 2013 with a collection of women’s contemporary apparel and handbags.  She designs pieces that are sophisticated and subtle with a touch of avant-garde.  When not working on the line, Ingrid enjoys travel and spending time with her two children.  Ingrid, raised in New York City, currently resides in Manhattan with her two children.
