Danielle King is a well-respected and highly qualified Sustainability Consultant working in the residential and commercial built environment.  She holds a MBA, Diploma of Sustainability and Diploma of Management as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and is a Schneider EcoXpert Advanced Partner. Danielle has taught Sustainability topics at several highly reputable universities, runs various sustainability programs for local Councils, and trains the HIA GreenSmart Professional builder program.  Danielle consults daily to a wide variety of clients including State and local government, the City Switch program, various private clients and educational bodies.

As a passionate advocate for efficient buildings, Danielle’s voluntary industry work includes sitting on the Sustainability Advisory Board at the Building Designers Association of Victoria (BDAV) and being a founding board member of the Green Building Institute, a Not for Profit organisation focused on providing green skills training for Building and Property professionals.

Danielle has presented many seminars on sustainable building topics, written numerous journal articles that have been published in a variety of media and co-authored The Smart Living Handbook.

Danielle is the Founder and Director of Green Moves Australia, a company that provides a range of sustainability services tailored for the residential and commercial market.  She is passionate about improving our built environment and understands the challenges of being ‘efficient’ whilst maintaining financial common sense.  Danielle is well aware of the different issues businesses and consumers face when considering sustainability efficiency initiatives and has assisted many clients by identifying practical, cost effective solutions that are appropriate for their specific situation.
