The importance of being a connector with Liz Lynch

The Strategy ShowOn this episode of The Strategy Show, host Liz Lynch talks about the importance of being a connector. In the process of being a connector you actually advance your own goals as well, whether it is personal or in business. Being a connector is easier than you think. You do not need a huge data base or any special resources or super powers. What is more important is the willingness and the openness to share what you do have.

Here are four options to consider:

1. Online:
Social media networks make it easy, through sharing others articles and or using the like button.

2. Informal meetings:
A great technique is scheduling a monthly breakfast or lunch with a colleague or two and each one brings another person along to introduce to the group.

3. Large events:
The relationships formed at these events can continue for years to come.

4. Connectors choice:
Find something you enjoy and doing and be a connector around that.
