“All of my career paths, education, motherhood, and travels have lead me
to my work as a coach and educator –
it is not an option, it is the work I love.”

Diane L. MacDonald is an educator, personal development and business coach to entrepreneurs, business owners, individuals in transition and teachers. She has been a successful small business owner and consultant for the past 25 years; using the principles she teaches and harnessing a deep awareness of her authentic self she transformed her life and created work and a life she loves.

Her studies include a Masters in Education, Coaching Training Institute, neuro-linguistic programming practitioner, Brain Gym as well as being a RYT 200 yoga instructor and YogaKids trainer for children with special needs.  Combining these diverse areas of expertise and utilizing a myriad of technologies, Diane delivers a one-of-kind toolbox to her clients and students.
Diane’s goal for every session, every workshop and every conversation is for her clients and students to achieve, and realize, results that create the changes they desire in their work and in their lives.

Prior to beginning her consulting and coaching business Diane owned and operated Boston based event production company Artful Events, focusing on producing high quality and innovative events for both the corporate and not for profits markets.  Diane designed and implemented events for Verizon, Sun Microsystems, Boston Properties, St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital and Big Brother of Boston.  While living in Boston she opened the Telamon Community Center, an after-school program and center for teens and the beginning of her commitment to support special needs children with the tools available through yoga.

When Diane and her daughter re-located to New York City, her not for profit and event experience became a launching pad for a thriving consultancy. Her clients included prominent philanthropies such as All for Africa, Action Against Hunger, Matt’s Promise and Chefs for Humanity, founded by Cat Cora (Iron Chef). As a business owner and a one-woman show, she developed the wherewithal to make things happen. Not only did she realize the strength of her own power, she also learned how to pull teams together, drive through external obstacles, and to create structure and action steps to move the vision of an organization forward.

In her work she has coached; philanthropists, board members, fundraisers, program directors, production teams, teachers, students and others. Her goal is always to move individuals and clients consistently forward toward their authentic vision, always ready for needed change in direction or course of action, and encouraging along the way – individuals and teams – to reconnect with the reason WHY they are there.

“Diane is not only a business coach, she is a motivational force. She has taught me about effective business getting practices, guided me through realizing my worth, mission, and goals, she taught me how to make a marketing plan, and has encouraged and lifted me up to a place I didn’t know I could go.  I trust her as a business coach, a life coach, and as a motivator. If you’re serious about creating a better life for yourself, go see Diane.”  EJ, Decorative Arts Consultant
