Miriam Reed is herself an enthusiastic pearl jewelry lover and her passion for the product is infectious.  After working in education for over 20 years, Miriam developed an interest in pearl jewelry and soon grew fascinated with pearls and jewelry design.  She enjoys working with something she loves so much.  Pearl Distributors has been operating out of Santa Monica, California since 2004. Miriam has written several articles and lectured on pearls.

Miriam prefers to do a lot of the customer service herself so she can build relationships with customers.  She enjoys answering questions about pearls and helping customers find the ideal gift for someone. Being artistic by nature, she likes working with customers in the creation of custom jewelry pieces, and always takes time out from the management side of the business  to check on the progress of special orders.

She is grateful for the support of her Design Technicians who work so hard to make sure that her high quality standards are met.  Her passion for the product and insistence on customer satisfaction has helped the business to grow.
