Born LaTonia Collins, the Kansas City native is now pursuing her dreams as an Author, Transformation Leader and Inspirational Speaker in Southern California. LaTonia’s spark for writing began at the age of 13 while suffering from depression as a result of sexual child abuse. She used her journal as a way to express her feelings.
In 2004, LaTonia found herself homeless due to domestic violence, it was during that period, that she awakened to her inner strength. She embarked on a journey of self-discovery. “Spiritual Bathing” was instrumental in her Spiritual and emotional healing process. By combining affirmative prayer, meditation and life visioning, transformation began.
Today, LaTonia uses her past experiences of abuse coupled with her passion for living, as a means to empower, inspire and motivate others to ignite the fire of their life purpose. Trained in meditation, energy healing and life visioning, LaTonia specializes in helping others increase their self-esteem, confidence, and mental clarity. She is actively involved in the community. She’s spoken at women’s organizations, college groups and high school events. She facilitates a transformation workshop, “Life…Beyond Survival” where she teaches others to say “YES” to life’s possibilities. LaTonia is committed to help others break free from victimology to enjoy an empowered life.
